HELP WITH RELACING OLD BATHROOM TILES! Posted by Tom on January 19th, 2003 07:49 AM
Hello
I have a bathroom that has existing ceramic tile that is working loose and cracking. I want to replace it. Please answer the following for me. Thanks!
**What is the (difficulty level) for a "jack of all trades" to do this job?
**What is the best way to remove the old tile and to remove the old adhesive?
**What can I expect to find, (in layers) just under the tile surface?
**Do I need any special tools to do this job, in laying new tiles?
**And finally, starting with the plywood floor on up....what, (in order) shall I lay down before I finally place in the tiles? What is best recommended? This bathroom is on a second floor of our home. (Small in size)!
Thanks for taking the time to read this for me. I hope you can get back to me soon with some advice!
Again....Thanks! Tom/Pa tjjrdc@msn.com Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
