We have terrible heating duct noise. One contractor told us that the main vent duct is rubbing against the wood in the shaft. The noise is so bad it keeps us awake at night, and the contractor identified 15 different expansion sounds on all levels of our house . He said there was little he could do. I am going to contact the original contractor and try and demand that something is done. Is it possible to fix this awful problem?
