Post tension slab Posted by Ron on January 19th, 2003 09:33 AM
My wife and I have been homeowners before, but this is the first house that either of us have had built. The contractor is using post tension slab. What is the advantage of this process over that of a rebar slab? Also, the tension that is applied to the cables, is this a one time process, or is the tension maintained on the cables, and if so, how are the cables secured in order to hold the tension.
A little help in understanding this process would be greatly appreciated. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
