As long as you do it by spraying, Cindy, it's no problem at all. Painting or priming usually leaves you with a big, gloppy, mess of paint. If you spray with either a spray can, air compressor and gun or similar, it is a pretty easy operation. Follow the safety and other information in the can or that came with your equipment. The idea with wicker is to spray from several angles to get good coverage.
