Ceiling problem

Nick, do you know positively, or have a way short of cutting the ceiling open, to verify exactly what type of insulation, if any, was used, how thick it is, and that it was installed properly?
Also, the I beams you mention; are we talking about truss-joists? (plywood or OSB type spreader, or upright member, with a 2X4 flange top & bottom) Or could the vault be scissor truss? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
