I am searching for info. I have a similar problem in a home I just bought, which was built in 97. No evident cracks in the foundation outside, but in a couple of the corners where wall meets wall, and where wall meets slanted ceiling there are slight cracks? I have also seen in the master bath below the window a slight crack and on with window seal, and on the left a slight gap from the interior of the window at the windows base??? This in my first house and I am not certain if this is normal - I hear it is in TX., but I want to take every precaution (e.g watering, calling a professional etc.), but I do not want to get paranoid. I am open to suggestions. I also wanted to point out that as I was house shopping - I noticed this alot.?? Please help.
