I know zilch about primers - but I certainly want the stain killer and sealer characteristics. I should have stated my question more clearly: What types of primers would yield the best results on exposed drywall with some taped and mudded areas. We want smooth walls, but didn't feel that we needed a level 5 or totally floated drywall finish as the framing was quite straight/plumb.
