I am a restoration contractor and use ozone regularly to eliminate smoke odors. I have developed a process where I can use ozone and high static pressure pumps to eliminate smoke odor inside of wall cavities after a fire which eliminates the time consuming and costly procedure of removal and disposal of affected materials. If you use ozone mix it with a fresh sourse of oxygen which will increase the parts per million concentration maintain this procedure for 24- 48 hrs then exhaust the house completly. this will eliminate all carbonbased odors in your house. Try to keep the humidity levels down during the treatment to avoid the formation of hydrogen peroxide and know that ozone accelerates the deteration of rubber based products. So treat with a silica gel first. Hope his helps.
