frozen water well head

11 degree overnight in central north carolina, new house with well. left fawcets on to drip, but well head (I guess) froze. How can I thaw it without damage, short of waiting until the ambient temp reaches a high enough level to thaw it. No sign of burst pipes visible under house or in yard near the well head. the well is deep, about 300+ feet Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
