What kind of work are you going to be doing in Lee's Summit? Just so happens to be where I live so was just curious where and what you were going to be upto. Regarding painters, I'm not really sure what the going rate is, it most likely depends on the individual painter and what they think they can get away with.
Anyway, just caught my attention... not everyday I see LSMO in print. LOL
