Rob, you can either breadboard them or double biscuit them if you have a biscuit cutter. You do the breadboard end on the table saw with a dado blade set. Be careful and follow all the safety rules if you haven't tried anything like this before.
I'm not totally sure that I'm answering the right question so you might come back with more detail if this doesn't seem right for what you are asking.
