Granite tile for kitchen countertops Posted by A. Baumgartner on April 4th, 1999 07:00 PM
Ideally, Granite Slab Countertops that are professionally installed are the way to go..... However, this time we are using a polished granite tile to remodel an exsisting kitchen. I have never used granite tile before and have had a bad experience using a sealer on a polished Travertine Stone in the past. The sealer left a milky substance eventhough it was applied in a thin coat and buffed dry. How can I prevent this again.. What is the best way to seal a Polished/Crackle Finish Granite tile for Kitchen counters? What is the best products. What are the do's and don'ts, if you will. I've heard of a lacquer top coat? Please advise. Much appreciated!
