I'm going to be building a house soon and I learned that you can build wooden foundations and looking for info on them from people who have built them or live in a house that has one. I was thinking of using 2 x 8's and 3/4 plywood all treated. Then puting 3 or 4 layers of tar paper and tar over the paper to help keep water off of it.
