My house (1978) has original vinyl flooring and I would like to put ceramic over it. It's not buckling anywhere and is very secure. I've heard about asbestos tiles in older homes, is there any easy way to check in case I need to tear these up or even sand them to get a good bonding surface for the adhesive. Thanks in advance.
