JayJ has me confused on that one also. I have never owned a mower that was not a mulcher. I have never bagged one blade of grass. Although, as Henry stated, I make sure to cut my grass before it gets too high. The small clippings simply dissolve into the ground in a day or two. My lawn is not a showpiece, but, it is green and free of weeds or crabgrass. The only thing I do is cut high and I weed and feed in the fall. All of the other information you have requested has been covered well by the others. By the way, your wife would love it as an anniversary present.....
