I wouldn't use wood flooring in the kid's bath, but the rest of my house has brazilian cherry flooring and we extended that into the master bathroom.
I have a large, often-used Jacuzzi tub, as well as a 6' by 7' walk-in shower with no shower door or curtain.
Zero problems.
One word of caution...if your toilet tank sweats and drips (condensation from high humidity) in the summertime, the floor it very likely to get damaged.
