How do I get rid of the wall paper glue on the wall???

HI,
I need help...I have a thin line of wallpaper glue on the wall from where the boader used to be. I have tried fabric softner and warm water, and I have also tried poly peel wallpaper remover. Nothing is working for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
