Siding Posted by Tara on April 15th, 1999 04:34 PM
I have a couple of questions, first, a few weeks back, I saw a Bob Vila episode where the siding was made from a concrete material. The project was based in Boston (I think) and was working on a coop. Is anyone familiar with this product? Any information would be helpful. Also, what is the difference in quality between red and white cedar shingles? I got a estimate of $120 a square for squared and rebutted white cedar shingles (with a 5 1/2 exposure I believe) and $190 for a square of red cedar. I know the red is supposed to last longer, but how much longer? Again, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tara
