Thanks for the short answer to my long post. I've considered this option, but I'd have to use lots of washers and screws, I think. Is there a downside to this kind of fix, including having trouble hiding all the washers with the new plaster? Also, what kind of plaster would you use, 2-coat veneer or something else? Thanks.
