My 4 year old Sears 1/2 HP Garage door opener has malfunctioned and I can't find out what is wrong. It doesn't want to close or open with the Wall or Remote transmitter.
The lights just dim and the unit buzzes with no results. It has done this before but a constant tapping of the wall switch or Hand held remote will usually start it. Some times if you shut off the Power in the Garage and turn it back on, it will work. This time it didn't. My wife is starting to suggest a NEW ONE!! Any fixes?
