It is what you might see in a dental exam room. The edge of the laid flooring curves upward where the wall and floor meet. This is great for places where sanitary conditions are important OR where you do not want crumbs and particles to collect as they tend to do in most kitchens and bathrooms.
I am trying to find a contractor who does it this way. It will make keeping those floor edges so easy to keep cleaner.
