We went thru the same senerio with the Fire dept I was with. We had the pit and the people and eq. to build our own. It turns after a little investigating that it was in fact cheaper to bye the Stainless Steel incerts For natural gas or LPG.
Off hand I don't know of any site for these plans just use your imagination.Good Luck
