Mark, Henry was very accurate in his information to you regarding the tub. The company I work for is a major manufacturer of gelcoat to the boat and rv industry. I can get you a number where you can purchase a small amount (a pint or quart would b enough), but, you have to know how to apply it. We(personally) looked into having one of our tubs recoated and the cost was rediculous (1200.). The amount of materials actually needed would be about $10.00. If your tub is white, that is a great problem. We manufacture at least 1,000 whites. Each color is custom. In addition you need to use catalyst while spraying. I think you can get kits from automotive stores, or for sure from a boat supply store. Good luck!
