I installed a deck about 7 years ago and have been pressure cleaning and resealing every 2 years. I am noticing cracking and splintering in the deck surface and was wondering if pressure treated lumber could be sanded down to a smooth surface and resealed. I know that arsenic is the main ingredient that preserves the wood and was concerned about potential inge3stion by pets and children.
