We are considering purchasing a home in Washington state that has an addition built over an old swimming pool. The seller's say the pool was filled with pea gravel. There have been quakes in the past that have moved building built on sand, I was wondering what the implications would be if there was a strong tremor or quake on this expensive addition attached to the original home?
