How do you transition a 16" round concrete column to an 8" square beam? We are building a home with 4 round columns in front supporting a 48" front porch under roof. The power steel lintels are 8"x16" and will sit centered on top of the columns. How do you make it look right with the extra column width sticking out of the front?
