i am renovating the whole bathroom myself and after removing the toilet i discovered the toilet flange is in very bad shape. the house was built in the 50s and i have to assume this was an original piece. my question is, how do i remove it? ive tried prying and hammering it. its since broken a little but still won't budge. i plan to replace it with a thinner plastic/metal-type flange. Please help!
