If you mean Duchesse Satin? Yes - spraying it is best - however - if you call 1-800-379-POLO - they can give you a basecoat color that will help the hiding of Duchesse Satin - so that it can be brushed and rolled
If you mean RL Satin Finish Wall Paint - it applies well with brush, roller, or spray
