We are redecorating our 1/2 bath and want to replace the baseboard covers that have become pitted. We removed the end caps and front panel but are unable to remove the back section that goes behind the actual heating element. The front panel snaps onto clips that are attached to the back section and goes behind the heating element. We have removed the screws/nails that attached the back panel to the wall, but the clips go above, behind and underneath the element. I believe there is a way without removing the heating element, we just cannot figure it out.
