I have a similar problem with mine... it makes the buzzing but doesn't move. I know there's power b/c the light bulb lights up. But we saw a spark from the unit a day ago whihc blew one light bulb (this all might be unrelated) but there is still power there, but the unit doesn't open/close now, just buzzes...
