My furnace has been acting up like that for a couple of days now. With these instructions on my laptop and the toolkit beside me, I decided to save myself the $100 and give it a go.
The sensor and the ignitor were both crusted with deposits. 45 minutes later (Hey, I really had no idea what I was doing when I started) and we had heat!
