I am in process of putting in a yellow pine T&G ceiling. Should I put up a moisture barrier (felt) on joists before nailing boards? Also, we are going to whitewash the boards. Should I sand, seal, whitewash or what whould be the best way to finish? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
