We recently had a new forced air furnace installed in our town house basement and the installer put in a vent from the outside to just above the furnace. There seeme to be a lot of cold air spilling out of the vent even when the furnace is not running. Is there any way to control the air flow to allow ventilation only when the furnace is operating?
