I want to take my 3 layers of vinyl tiles up in my kitchen and have them replaced with marble, but I understand some vinyl tiles (and maybe the adhesive, too) contain asbestos. Was there a year when asbestos stopped being used in these tiles? My condo was built somewhere between 1972 and 1978.
