I own a modular as well.

If you look in the cabinets or closets, you should find a State inspection decal. Call up that agency and ask for an "on-site" inspection.

Most of the time, the manufacturer will submit the plans to the State for approval and no inspection takes place to see if it was built to the plans.

Your local Inspection Department can, (and should) perform the same inspection.

Note* Some inspectors just look at the decal and assume it has been inspected already!
