This space is not insulated. I have 2 x 12 ceiling joist 16"OC above that is 2x4 fir underlayment of 2nd floor. I put the pine flooring upstairs also with roof felt as my moisture barrier. I am now thinking more simplistic and leaning on painting pine and distressing instead of whitewashing. Any help???
