Is asbestos-vinyl floor tile commonly found in homes today?

I am also very interested in knowing how common asbestos-vinyl floor tiles are in homes today, and are many people having similar problems to the ones I have spoken of at the start of this thread...tiles containing asbestos are in poor condtion, breaking/crumbling, and warping, so it would be hard to place a new vinyl floor over the existing warped tiles.
