I am having window spring problems as well, I have been told that I have to order the entire unit , it's a pulley system, this house is 20 years old. All I need is a few coil springs aprox. 6 inches long, and 1/2 wide. It seems the attitude toward perfectly good windows (besides the spring issue)these days is - "buy new" don't fix the old?
