Adding a basement

Please help, we purchased our first home together and it is NOT on a concrete foundation. It is on a wood foundation set on dirt. Our beloved home was always used as a summer home and things are cracking under the weight of our full time furnishings. Please help. We would love an English basement (the house is already three feet off the ground setting on wood beams.) We live in the Geneva Lakes Area of Wisconsin and need someone to help us out of this sticky situation.
