I have a problem of ice build-up. Last year I went up in the attic to remove any insulation that was blocking the soffit, and installed baffles between the rafters. Than did not solve the problem. I was wondering if I installed another layer of fiberglass so it is solid insulation between the rafters and baffles about three feet from the soffit, would I do more harm than good? I just replaced my singles and installed a ridge vent.
