I have a ice build-up problem. Last year I went up in the attic and removed any insulation blocking air flow from soffit and installed baffles between rafters. I still have the problem.I was wondering if I put another layer of fiberglass batts between the top of the rafters and baffles about 3 feet from the soffit,so it is solid insulation so no heat can escape this far down the roof, would I do more harm than good? I reshingled the roof and put in a ridge vent last year.
