I need to remove and replace my attic insulation. Ice has been forming on the edges of my roof so I want to start from square one and insulate the attic properly. The old stuff has been blown in and has settled and runs right up to the roof without the baffles.(suck it out with a shop vac?)
Would it make better economic sense to move the insulation away from the roof and put the baffles in,and "fluff" the old stuff up?
Any input will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
