I have a Sears 1/2 horsepower garage door opener. The battery in the remote went dead, I have replaced and followed the instructions on the garage door opener on how to re-program the remote, but it will not open or close the garage door.
At first I thought maybe the battery I bought was no good, so I have now bought 2 and it still will not work.
