BobB is right, things will probably settle back in the spring.
What you can try as an alternative to digging deeper post holes at this point is to put 2 inches of styrofoam down around the existing posts. I would cover the styrofoam with a couple of inches of dirt, and place about a 3 foot diameter circle. This should keep the frost from penetrating down to your 18 to 24 inch depth.
