why dose one need to remove popcorn? Living in las vegas,nv. there are lots of great homes here having it on their ceilings. Not all popcorn is asbestos filled. My home was built in 1990 and I doubt that it has it. A double tight popcorn looks very attractive and is the best sound barrier.
Where are you getting your popcorn tested ?
I can see if there is a problem and need to have it removed, but just because it's a popcorn finish doesn't mean it's a bad thing...
