I would like to cover my patio. The area I wish to cover is 6.4 metre by 5.2 metres and 2.5 metres high. I would like to build the cover using 3" by 3" box galvinised steel uprights. The structue will be stand alone and not be attached to the the main house structure. I need some help to determine how many uprights I will need given the span of the slab. I will be using colour bond (corrigated iron) to cover the patio.
I would appreciate any plans that you could share with me to help me design the right plan for my patio.
