Personally I believe a twisted connection is a better one. Two acid tests: be sure there are no bare wires sticking out of the rear end of the wire nut, and second, you can always give a tug between the wire nut and it's wires to be sure the wires don't pull out. (this precludes the need for tape) Steve, I respectfully submit the word that is spelled definitely, (meaning of or from that which is finite) not definately. Regards, Carl Was this post helpful?
