my car insurance company was taken over just reasently by another company. The problem I have is that reasently I was stopped by the police and was asked to produce relevant details within 7 days, when collecting my details it was noticed that my insurance has expired. When I called the new company to get a copy of my new insurance details they said they have not got any of my details and to call my previous insurance company and all they can say is that my insurance has ran out. So now I have a possoble driving conviction on my record. Do you have any ideas on resolving this situation.
