By law, the realtor works for the seller and only the seller! Don't be fooled into thinking they are acting in your best interest.
Stop the sale and get an inspection. If the realtor tells you that it is too late, tell them "OK!"
Hire an inspector that is independant from the realtor, meaning don't hire someone who has a brochure at the realtors office. They are more prone to NOT find problems that would cost them a sale.
Remember, most home inspectors are refered by realtors.
