What kind of tile is this? Is it ceramic, porcelein or marble? Actually, I don't think acid washing is your answer. Under no circumstances should you acid wash marble, and you won't change the color of ceramic or porcelein with acid washing. If it is natural stone it may blend in time. Otherwise, it is probably an artifact of different manufacturing runs.
